It's possible to learn skills to help you navigate life with more peace and confidence!    I offer individualized mindfulness skills coaching, which means I will teach you skills that you can use in your everyday life. I will create a customized mindfulness skills plan for you to use daily to reach your goals. I work with both adults and adolescents. I also teach mindful parenting and communication skills for couples.

Research indicates practicing mindfulness can lead to decreased anxiety, depression, anger, obsessions, stress, and addiction. It can also increase self-acceptance, improve sleep, improve immune functioning and overall feelings of well-being

In my personal experience of regular practice of mindfulness and meditation for the past 23 years, I have found that my anxiety lessened, my shame decreased and my trauma decreased.  I have found my life to be more meaningful, and that I feel more of a sense of personal power and freedom from my mindfulness practice.

I have taught mindfulness skills in mental health centers for 15 years to clients and to mental health professionals.  I have taught these skills to incarcerated teen boys, individuals with addictions, depression, anxiety, eating disorders and trauma.  I work with individuals (adolescents and adults) with a wide variety of struggles and goals. The services I provide are mindfulness skills instruction and mindfulness based supportive coaching.

I have received extensive training on emotion regulation and mindfulness skills from one of the world's foremost experts, Dr. Marsha Linehan.

I have studied with meditation masters in Nepal and in the U.S.   My first meditation teacher was Geshe Sopa, one of the Dalai Lama’s tutors in India & the first Tibetan lama to become a tenured professor in the U.S. I also studied with Sogyal Rinpoche, one of the most well known Tibetan lamas alive.   I studied with Sogyal Rinpoche from his best selling book 'The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying'.  I wrote my thesis on how to transform the mind using meditation.  I have studied with meditation masters of various religions.  I teach meditation and mindfulness skills from a non-religious perspective and can work effectively and respectfully with individuals of all faiths and cultural backgrounds.

I love teaching mindfulness skills in creative and innovative ways.  I have spent years honing my teaching skills to assist and connect to individuals who struggle to find inner peace.  I am warm, compassionate, easy to relate to, non-judgmental and totally non-pathologizing.  My greatest joy is to help clients find ways to apply skills in their lives for increased happiness and peace.

I provide training to mental health professionals and addictions treatment centers on mindfulness skills and meditation practices.

Beth teaches skills that can help anyone to live a happier, more peaceful and more meaningful life.  Mindfulness skills are scientifically proven to transform the brain to decrease emotional struggles and promote and increase positive emotions. Mindfulness skills help us to relate to our struggles and our joys differently with fresh eyes and an overall confidence and inner peace.

Meditation Practices

Beth teaches ancient meditation practices with a modern approach.  Each meditation Beth teaches cultivate positive states of mind including self-love, self-forgiveness, inner peace, gratitude, equanimity, confidence, acceptance and contentment.  Beth teaches meditations that are empirically validated for promoting mental and physical health.
